We have been notified by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that the E-Verify system will be undergoing system enhancements on Friday, May 18 from 9 PM ET until 11:59 PM ET. During this timeframe, E-Verify will be unavailable.
Equifax I-9 Management users will still be able to create E-Verify cases that will be queued and automatically submitted after the USCIS maintenance window has ended.

changing our Public Certificate Authority from Symantec/VeriSign to
DigiCert. While this change should not have any effect on currently
issued Client Certificates, it could affect the initial connection to
the endpoint (before client certificates are requested) if customers
do not have the DigiCert Global Root CA chain installed on their servers.

We are currently investigating a technical issue impacting the I-9 Management portal. Users with ampersands in their name may be experiencing intermittent issues when completing Section 1 of the I-9 form . Teams are actively working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, as a workaround, users can complete Section 1 of the I-9 in the WebManager or by using the following steps:
- Go to NEWI9.com
- Enter Employer Name
- Enter Employer Code and Captcha text
